Elaine Chou represents corporate clients in a broad array of insurance, commercial and employment litigation matters. Her litigation experience includes practice areas such as insurance coverage, discrimination, product liability, subrogation and civil rights. Ms. Chou has also defended schools, universities and religious institutions in defamation, ADA, negligence and employment matters. Recently, she successfully argued Scarito v. St. Joseph Hill Academy, 62 AD3d 773(2009), before the Second Department of the New York State Appellate Division.
After receiving her BA from the Johns Hopkins University and JD from Fordham University School of Law, she served as Secretary of the Young Lawyers Committee for the Association of the Bar of the City of New York between 2002 and 2004.
