Anthony Presta, born in Bronx, New York, was admitted to the New York bar in 2007 and the New Jersey bar in 2006. His J.D. degree, cum laude, was issued in 2006 by St. John's University School of Law, where he received Dean's List honors and served as Associate Articles and Notes Editor of the St. John's Law Review. As an undergraduate, he received a B.B.A. degree in finance, cum laude, in 2001 from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he earned Dean's List honors and was inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society. During law school, he participated in a foreign study program in Sorrento, Italy, and as an undergraduate he studied abroad at the University of Limerick, Ireland.
Mr. Presta's practice focuses upon commercial litigation, insurance coverage litigation and business formation, transactions and disputes. His experience includes nearly all phases of civil litigation (from pleadings through discovery, dispositive motion practice, conducting a damages inquest and preparation of appeals) as well as formation of business entities and related services (including preparation of relevant licensing, intellectual property and other agreements and corporate documents).
Mr. Presta is admitted to practice before all courts of the states of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States Court of Appeal for the Second Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
